Kuwait nightlife

Kuwait offers fascinating architecture, great shopping and lovely water sports. However, if you’re looking for a nightclub in Kuwait in the western style, you may be a little disappointed. Kuwait’s nightlife focuses on friends and beer, and water pipe or shisha smoke, or even one of the low-key disks, but because of religious values alcohol will not be sold here. Nightlife in Kuwait, however, has its own charm and can add various types of flavour to your holiday, as nightlife in this city doesn’t just mean nightclubs and bars.

While there are very few nightclubs here, combined with a lack of alcoholic beverages, this won’t affect the entertainment of the visitors here. Nightlife in Kuwait provides a royal smoking experience in bars, with hubble-bubble. The smoke is drawn into a water bowl filled with cold lemon-flavored water by a syrupy fruity blend of flavours, which cools the smoke before reaching the pipe from which you draw. You can even go out and enjoy some good drinks with a coke, or even coke from Mecca. In Kuwait, fresh fruit juice and ice cream make up a cocktail, but without alcohol.

Shopping is also included in Kuwait’s nightlife, and one of the best ways to spend the night could be taking a walk along the moonlit seaside. There are other choices for ladies too, such as malls and restaurants, but it is not advisable to stay outside without any companions after 10 pm. When you don’t want the unwelcome publicity, dress discreetly.

Often, in addition to camping or joining the desert gathering tent with local people, tourists enjoy car race by locals on the Jahra route.

Many venues in Kuwait have activities that entertain guests like evening music launch parties, or hotels hosting guest functions, dancing, dinners, black and white parties, and so on.

In some of the good restaurants there you can go shopping or dining, no hard drinks are available in public, but there’s another life full of private parties. Just having a decent meal and enjoyable coffee with friends, if not for all these, can be an entirely different experience.

Nightclubs / Bars in Kuwait

There are no formal nightclubs in Kuwait, although some hotels and larger restaurants offer live entertainment. House parties double up as nightclubs and people generally dress up well and venture out. Although not banned, discos are kept very low key. Mentioned below are probably the closest venues that could give you a nightclub feel:

Sky Lounge

Acting as a crown for the Radisson Blu, Sky Lounge is a swanky rooftop bar that pampers guests with its breathtaking panoramic sea views. The comfy sofas are ideal for a soft sundowner, while the covered lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows and glimpses of the imposing Al Hashemi II dhow.
